We specialize in a modern, casual, unposed wedding photojournalism and portraiture in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.
We are unobtrusive storytellers, working tirelessly in the background, documenting your wedding’s genuinely happy and touching moments rather than obvious poses and “say cheese” smiles. We capture vivid, candid, flattering portraits.
We specialize in showcasing individual personalities and dynamic interactions, capturing genuine smiles, and documenting honest moments with humor and sincerity.
Our service includes two photographers for every event. Many photographers will charge you extra for a second photographer, but we include a second highly skilled photographer with every wedding package.
Normally, our team is one male and one female. Our clients tell us that it is more comfortable with a female photographer in the bride’s room!
While we do give advice on posing and placement during formal posed photos (to enhance the overall result), we specialize in showcasing individual personalities and dynamic interactions, capturing genuine smiles, and documenting honest moments with humor and sincerity.
We offer several standard wedding packages and we can custom-tailor any package to meet your needs. As with our Portrait Photography, when you add a bundled product to any package at the time of booking, we offer a 10% discount on that product.
Our wedding and engagement services include two types of photography:
Events – Weddings, Unions and Milestones
Photography for a single, important event or milestone such as a wedding, union, or vow renewal.
We can also provide photography coverage for an event such as a bar mitzvah or bat mitzvah, sweet 16 party, quinceanera, or reunion.

Portraits – Engagement Sessions, Bridal Portraits, Trash The Dress, etc.
As they relate to weddings, these are sometimes thought of as “Engagement Sessions”.
However, portraits are not just reserved for engagements: We can take portraits of couples, families, or individuals at any time. We like to think of Portrait Sessions as “Lifestyle Photography”.
This type of photography also includes “day after the wedding” sessions and “trash the dress” sessions.
