All of our portrait sessions include….
Each and every one of our our portrait photography sessions in the Ellicott City, Baltimore Maryland, DC, and Virginia metro area include:
- Two photographers’ time and talent (half/half shooting or photographer and assistant)
- E-mail or phone consultation and ongoing support
- Dedicated time with our creative staff of photographers at our private studio in Ellicott City, MD
- Our “What to Wear” guide
- Our “Artwork Display” Guide
- Online proofing and ordering
- Artwork display, design, and selection assistance
- Edited images in our unique style
- A personal online gallery for friends and family to view your photos and purchase prints/products
- Approximately 20-30 images to choose from (for sessions at least 60 minutes long)
Things you should know
To be fair to all of our clients, our services are never discounted.
Prints, products and digital files are available for purchase separately after your session.
We have a full line of designs for albums, boxes, birth announcements, folded and flat holiday cards, large canvas and display artwork, and more. We can customize calendars, create groupings of photos that tell a story, and we even have things like photo jewelry.
We can bundle any of our signature products and services with any of our packages at the time of booking which gives you at a 10% discount off of a la carte product rates.
We offer a $20 referral in the form of a print/service/product credit when you refer a new client who books our services.
Your full session payment is due at time of booking to reserve your session.

Session Length
Standard sessions are held in our studio in Ellicott City, MD. Standard sessions last up to 60 minutes.
Extended sessions cover on-location sessions and studio sessions. Extended sessions last 60-120 minutes.

Signature Services and Products
Our session fee covers an initial consultation, the photographer and assistant’s time and talent, basic guidance with clothing selection, theme design and planning, etc.
Affordable collections, a la carte photo prints, albums, and photo books are available for purchase after the session. Your session fee covers the photographer’s time given to your consultation, preparation, your shooting session, and preparing your images.
We will work with you to select the correct size and configuration of your print or album order to make sure you, your family, and your friends will be amazed and thrilled with the results.
We have packages and product options ranging from budget-friendly to extravagantly exquisite. Every one of our products will be a treasured heirloom.
The average client invests $200-$800 in their custom photography after the session. You will be able to choose from a wide range of Have-It-All Options
Can’t decide on just one or two photos? Pick one of our complete session packages and “have it all”.
These packages include each of the photos from your gallery in print as a hardcover press-printed Photo Coffee Table Book, a traditional and exquisite handmade Photo Album, or a Photo Session Box containing all of your images as loose 5×7 prints.
- 14 page lay-flat page custom designed album — A high quality photo book printed on true professional photo paper with pages that lay flat for amazing panoramas and striking layouts. Custom-designed by our skilled staff or containing images selected by you, your album will become a treasured family heirloom.
- High-Resolution Portrait Session CDs — This CD is perfect for small and large re-prints and your archives.
- Share & Show CDs — Includes all the images from your gallery in low-resolution format slideshow. This CD is perfect for showing images to friends and family. These images are not sized for printing.
- Social networking images — A watermarked digital copy of your favorite image that you can use for your social networking profile.
Custom-designed portrait session photo coffee table books start at $400.00, photo session boxes start at $800, and classic handmade photo albums utilizing museum-quality materials start at $1200.00.
Digital Images and Digital Negatives
Our standard resolution (“low-res”) digital images are a size and resolution that looks great on your computer screen or TV. These images are available for web or print use but are not suitable size or resolution for printing and do not include reprint rights.
Our high resolution (“high-res”) digital negatives are a size and resolution that allows printing, and these images do include reprint rights. High-res images are only available as a Have-It-All package purchase.
Both sizes are available for purchase either as single images or as your entire collection.
Portrait Photography Payments and Policies
Prices are non-negotiable out of fairness to all of our clients, and are subject to change without notice. Pricing for products and services is secured when any portion is paid.
Payment in full for your session fee is due at the time of booking.
Session fees are non-refundable.
Appointments rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice given will have the session fee carried over to the rescheduled appointment as a courtesy.
Missed sessions or cancellations made without 48 hours notice will forfeit the session fee.
Prints and products are subject to MD sales tax for Maryland residents. Services are exempt from sales tax.
Elusion LLC accepts personal checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, Visa, Discover, Mastercard, American Express, as well as Google Checkout and PayPal via invoice. Products will be provided after drafted payments have cleared.
For large orders, we can create payment plans in installments to spread the cost over more than one payment. We require a 50% deposit to place your initial order.
