Model “Comp” or “Composite” cards are essentially business cards for models. They are the de facto standard for marketing your modeling business and can be extremely essential to your success.
What is a Comp Card?
The comp card is a collection of a few pictures and your basic stats on card stock or other rigid paper. Many modeling agencies will show comp cards to clients, who can flip through many at a time. Having a good set of striking, quality images is very important, because it may only be seen for a few seconds.
Comp cards are fairly inexpensive to create, but an invaluable tools for your career.

Comp Card Content
You should have a minimum of two photos on your comp card, but four, five, or six in a unique layout with bold colors and strong shapes is highly recommended.
We will work with you to come up with multiple themes, styles, looks, locations, and color schemes.
Elusion can custom design your comp cards, have them professionally printed and mailed directly to you.

In addition to your photos, you should display your:
- Height
- Weight
- Dress size
- Three measurements (bust, waist, hips)
- Shoe size
- Eye and hair color
- Ethnicity
- Age
- Contact information
Your comp card should be printed on both sides of an 8.5″ x 5.5″ (half of a standard piece of paper) piece of card stock (12 pt stock) and contain your latest and greatest photo portfolio. A quality printer will produce quality results.
Some modeling agencies will print their own comp cards, but in many cases you will need to provide the photos.
