Photography is about timing, knowledge, skill, talent, and dedication. Professionally taken photographs are substantially better than the results of untrained DSLR owners. Amateurs do not know the “ins” and “outs” of events, they do not understand the flow and timing required to adequately cover a event.

When you have spent so much money and effort on your day, you should be sure you have someone who knows everything about a wedding, someone who knows what to look for, where to be and when, and who can anticipate the moments that make great event photos. You want someone who can take great portraits and capture emotional, candid photos. And you need someone who has the equipment and technical know-how to perform within the once in a lifetime moments as they become available, when missing a shot is not an option
Our dedication to you and our work does not stop after your event. We spend extensive time in the days following your event editing, arranging, and perfecting your photo set. Your photos will be arranged, ordered, sorted, and professionally post-processed. No dark, dull photos – we make sure everything is bright and sharp and true-to-life, showing depth and character.
Proper post-processing makes a world of difference between good photos and great photos. Our experienced staff will post-process each and every photo to correct or diminish the appearance of many minor skin imperfections (like blemishes) in the images, and to properly adjust the technical aspects of the images and files to prepare them for brilliant printing and accurate viewing. We strive to make your photos (and you) look their very best.

We offer a few standard packages that offer discounts off of a la carte pricing.
We can customize a package for each client, so you never get anything you don’t want. Only want a DVD with no prints? No problem. Need a full set of prints? No problem. Just let us know what you want and we will make it happen.
Our Wedding Photography Team
Our service includes two photographers for every event. Many other services will charge you extra for this, but we do it for every client.
Our primary team is one male and one female photographer (generally speaking, however this is subject to availability).
With two photographers, we can literally be in two places at once, providing assurance that we will capture more of your special day from all sides and angles than a single photographer ever could.
One of the benefits of having both a male and female photographer is that it really makes sense when there is a woman photographer in the women’s dressing room and a man in the men’s dressing room. Most of our female clients feel more comfortable getting ready, getting dressed, etc with a female photographer in the dressing room instead of a male photographer.
Another benefit of having a male/female team is that we bring different things to the table in terms of our differing styles and artistic “eyes”. One of us can be working with everyone taking posed photos while the other fades into the background, which is necessary to capture really great photojournalism style shots.
What To Expect
We will arrive prior to your start time to setup our equipment and scout the venue. Our service includes two photographers for every event capturing from start to finish the “getting ready”, processional, ceremony, meet-and-greet/cocktail hour, and the party including all of the special events like cake cutting, first dances, toasts, etc.
Your photos will be a mix of photojournalism, documentary and candid photos as well as the traditional posed photos (if desired).
Our posed photos are more formal yet distinctly modern portraits. We work quickly and exactly to get great photos of your wedding party, family, and of the couple together and individually. We use professional lighting and equipment to perfectly light each group portrait.
Your candid photojournalism images (the photos that are not formal posed shots) will be the complete story of your day, from start to finish. They will feature unposed portraits of the happy couple, their families, and the guests, touching and humorous moments, and photos of the important details like flowers, place settings, etc. The smiles will be real, the tears will be real, and your photos will be modern and unique.
Your photos will remind you of important moments and events of the day featuring wonderful moments, humorous vignettes, timeless and flattering candid portraits, as well as coverage of the details that you spent so much time choosing for their significance and importance to you.
Your photos will evoke emotion and memories every time you view them. They will become treasured heirlooms to show your family and friends. We can work with you to plan your day, to make a list of your desired posed shots, and if needed on natural, modern posing to achieve flattering photos.
We will produce a mix of color and black & white images with correct or artistic color/shade, hue, tone, brightness, exposure, sharpness, saturation, and contrast. Your photos will be bright and brilliant.
Typical output from event photography averages from 50-200 images per hour; The actual number of delivered photographs may vary. We will cull any photos with closed eyes, unflattering expressions, etc.
We require a deposit to book your wedding day. We reserve your entire day just for you.

We offer popular products such as hardcover printed photo books, traditional photo albums, and image DVDs.
We feel strongly that prints and albums are the best way to remember your wedding day and the most important treasures for you to take away from your wedding day. Digital photos are great to have, but when you see an image hanging on your wall that reminds you of your union each and every day day, it will remind you of your love and bond, and it bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. And when you pull out your beautiful photo album to show your friends, children, and family, you will understand that these classic items are indeed the memory of your day.

Our complete wedding packages include two photographers, ample coverage, a DVD, and travel/setup.
Naturally, weekends are in especially high demand. Dates are on a first-come-first-served basis, so do not delay in finding your photographers!
Our packages start at $1600 and most of our clients spend between $2200-$3200 on their wedding photography service and products. The most commonly requested upgrades include additional album pages, additional photography time, family albums (normally these are photobook versions of the couple’s traditional album), enhanced album materials (e.g. leather covers, fine papers), photos printed on stretched canvas, and photo frames with mats.
Because we reserve your date just for you, and do not book any other clients for your day, a non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date, and the retainer will be applied towards your package. We cannot hold your date until your retainer and signed contract are received.
